This is the first Doubled Die variety in the Lincoln cent series. No deposit free chips. However, there are two different Doubled Dies for this issue. The Type 1 is the stronger of the two Doubled Dies and the one that commands a higher premium. Doubled Die Type 1 shows strong doubling to the east of the 1 the first 9 digit and also on the 0 on the date.
